What fields can I export? — Component Exporter

Component Exporter supports every standard component field that Compass exposes — including name, type, description, labels, and links — as well as custom fields of every supported type: text, number, boolean, single-select, and multi-select.

You decide field-by-field which columns end up in the CSV, in what order, and how list values are separated.

User fields are not exported

Fields that contain user information — such as the component owner or any custom field referencing a user — are intentionally not included in exports. We avoid moving personal data outside of Compass to keep exports safe to share and to align with GDPR and privacy requirements. If you need to associate components with people, do it inside Compass.
